  4. Reputation Management: Studies suggest that it can take up to three years for a brand to recover its reputation after a misinformation incident. Therefore, having a strong reputation management strategy is critical.


  5. Financial Impact: A report showed that businesses impacted by misinformation can lose as much as 30% in sales during a crisis. Additionally, companies often allocate up to 15% of their marketing budget to counter misinformation.
